KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 8th November 2023 – The 9th Navy to Navy Talks (NTNT) between the Royal Brunei Navy and Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) were held at Seminar Room, Minda 1, Wisma PerwiraAngkatan Tentera Malaysia, Ministry of Defence, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia hosted by the RMN. Representing as the RBN Head of Delegation was Commander Mohammad Azrin bin Haji Mahmud, RBN, Chief of Staff, whilst the RMN delegation was led by Captain Mohd Husni bin Aris, RMN, Director of International Relations, RMN Headquarters.
The NTNT focused on issues of mutual interest and opportunities to build capacity, such as through exercise, courses, and training, and also discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the two navies further. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the long-standing bilateral ties and the mutual understanding and trust developed through previous engagements.
